Twenty-Fourth Annual Conference on the Prevention of Child Abuse

CONFERENCE SITE / HOTEL REGISTRATION: The Conference will be held at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel located at 400 North Olive Street, Dallas, TX 75201. The Sheraton offers accommodations at $85 - single; $140 – double occupancy rates under a block of rooms reserved for the Prevent Child Abuse Texas program. HOTEL CHARGES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR CONFERENCE REGISTRATION.

PARKING: The Sheraton Dallas Hotel offers various parking options. Conference attendees will receive a discount of $6.00 for self parking per day. All other Valet parking is at standard price.

EXHIBIT INFORMATION: Businesses, organizations, and individuals are invited to bring products, materials and services to the attention of those attending the Conference. As an Exhibitor, your agency/business can receive a 20% discount on registration fees for up to five registrants. CONFERENCE BOOKSTORE: The Conference Bookstore will be open during conference hours. There will be a variety of items available for purchase such as books, pins, wristbands, car magnets and assorted blue ribbon items. Please take time to visit the bookstore.

REGISTRATION: Complete the attached registration form and mail or fax it to Prevent Child Abuse Texas as soon as possible. You may also go to www.preventchildabusetexas.org to register online. Click on the Conference tab at the top and follow the directions. Workshop selections are based on a first come first serve basis so register early. Be sure to register by January 30, 2010 to get the Early Bird rate. Cut off for registration is February 17, 2010. After February 17, 2010 on site registration will be required.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to attend the conference, you may cancel your registration by submitting your cancellation in writing (fax, postal mail or email) to PCAT by January 30, 2010. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted. PCAT is not responsible for cancellation notices not received. Substitutions for registered attendees may be made without penalty. All substitutions MUST be made in writing through the PCAT office. Refunds will be granted, less a $25 processing fee, if a written notice of cancellation is received by January 30, 2010. No refunds will be granted after January 30, 2010.

SPECIAL LUNCH: There will be a special lunch available for Monday, February 22, 2010 with Dr. Bruce Perry. This lunch is an additional cost. To register, please see Registration Form.
